Individual Coaching
Who needs coaching?
Anyone who is stuck or having a difficult time getting somewhere in life
needs coaching. Whether you are a woman who has not met her potential
(growth and development), a man who is stuck in an unsatisfying relationship
(relationships), a parent who is exasperated with a teenager (parenting),
or a teenager who does not know what to do about the opportunities for
higher education (career), you may need a coach to help you move forward
into a positive perspective to change the behaviors or thoughts that may
be preventing you from getting you to your goal.
How does coaching work?
Individual Coaching: You meet via telephone at designated times, usually
once per week for either 30 or 45 minutes depending on the plan that you
choose. You are coached in the area you designate as a priority for change
for you specifically. You pay a monthly fee for services and long distance
phone charges per call.
Group Coaching: You meet via telephone at designated times, usually twice
a month for 60 minutes with other folks around the country who come together
to work on a specific problem area. You are facilitated by a coach in
the area the group designates as a priority for change. You pay a monthly
fee for services and long distance phone charges per call.
Teleconference Classes: You meet via telephone at designated times, usually
once per week for 8 weeks, 12 weeks, or 24 weeks. You are taught on specific
subject matter to which the class is geared. You pay a class tuition at
the beginning of the class and long distance phone charges per call.
Why would I choose you to be my coach?
Two theories in my personal growth will help you to believe that I am
the person to choose to coach you. First, my children were trained in
the Suzuki method of piano instruction where I learned that everyone is
gifted in some way and has vast untapped potential that is waiting to
be facilitated to develop and grow not only in music, but in all areas
of life. Second, my advisor in my doctoral program adamantly suggested
that we choose to learn his philosophy that all people are self organizing
and that it is our challenge to help people discover how to learn about
themselves so that they can use what they know about themselves to meet
their goals. In combination, these two philosophies will give me the mind
frame to be your choice for a life coach.
