Grief/Loss Coaching

Who needs Grief/Loss Coaching?

Anyone who is having a difficult time getting over the loss of a loved one needs Grief/Loss coaching. Anyone who has lost a job needs Grief/Loss coaching. When it is a struggle to get back into your life without a person or a job in it, you need Grief/Loss coaching. When your feelings of loss overwhelm you and render you helpless, you need Grief/Loss coaching. When you just want to throw the covers over your head and go back to sleep, you need Grief/Loss coaching. When your environment seems gloomy and dark because of your loss, you need Grief/Loss coaching. How does coaching work?

Individual Coaching: You meet via telephone at designated times, usually once per week for either 30 or 45 minutes depending on the plan that you choose. You are coached in the area you designate as a priority for change for you specifically. You pay a monthly fee for services and long distance phone charges per call.

Group Coaching: You meet via telephone at designated times, usually twice a month for 60 minutes with other folks around the country who come together to work on a specific problem area. You are facilitated by a coach in the area the group designates as a priority for change. You pay a monthly fee for services and long distance phone charges per call.

Teleconference Classes: You meet via telephone at designated times, usually once per week for 8 weeks, 12 weeks, or 24 weeks. You are taught on specific subject matter to which the class is geared. You pay a class tuition at the beginning of the class and long distance phone charges per call.

Why would you choose me to be your Grief/Loss coach?

I have experienced the death of my son; therefore, I know the feelings of loss. I am a psychologist who also knows the techniques for recovery from loss. These two in combination make me credible to help you learn techniques that will be helpful. I have tried all the techniques that I teach sometime in the last fifteen years and I know they work. The theories that I use stem from Positive Psychology. I focus on your strengths to help you through your adversity. Getting over a loss is not easy. However, I know you can live a productive satisfying life despite the loss of your loved one or your job.

How do I get started?
